I grew up in Caneyville, Kentucky pop. 640. I graduated from Grayson County High School in 1990. Shout out to my best friend Monica goes here. From there I moved to Lexington and went to the University of Kentucky for about five years, where I studied mostly math, chemistry, and computer science. I then went to Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green for a couple of years studying math and computer science. In 1997 I started working for a classified ads newspaper as a production manager, where I taught myself page layout, design, and so forth. In 1998 I moved to downtown Nashville and lived there for about a year, desiging ads for The Tennessean. I moved to Jersey City in 1999, Staten Island, Manhattan, and recently back to Jersey City where I am staying for good. I was recently laid off from Hearst Magazines after they closed my magazine Shop Etc. I started a new job with Condé Nast in October 2006.
